LIBRARY
Reading makes a man perfect. Reading may well be the first discipline that a new student of a language comes into contact with. Reading is an important skill that needs to be developed in children. The school library is a welcoming place for study and reading. The school library encourages the love of reading and development of student’s independent learning skills. The school subscribes to many newspapers, magazines, journals and periodicals to quench the intellectual thirst of the voracious readers.
ART ROOM
The Art Room is in essence a collaborative space for students to explore ,discover and enjoy multiple facets of creativity. It offers a platform to unleash the creative potential of the students under the able guidance of an expert and experienced Art teacher.
MUSIC ROOM
Music is the essence of life. Music is integrated in the scholastic curriculum to enhance the teaching learning process. Western ,Classical as well as devotional music is taught by qualified teachers in the well-equipped music room.
COMPUTER ROOM
Keeping in mind the ever growing utility of computers in every sphere of life , computer lab is scientifically designed to cater the practical exposure to students. Computer education is mandatory for all students. Technology aided Learning is an integral part of the curriculum as per new syllabus recommended by CBSE.
SUBJECT LABORATORIES
The school has spacious well-equipped ultra-modern science laboratories such as Physics, Chemistry, Social Science. Students are encouraged to use these laboratories to learn through experiments. It helps to reinforce the knowledge acquired in the theory class by emphasizing on the fundamental concepts. The labs provide the students with an interactive and engaging set of experience that facilitates them in experimenting the key concepts through a well regulated time-table. The required weight age is given to practical's as per CBSE norms.
LITERARY ACTIVITIES
Literary activities improve a child’s skill at arithmetic, memorization and reading. To ignite the flight imagination, spontaneity of expression and to develop the skills of public speaking, contests such as Declamations, Debates, Extempore and Poetry Recitation are held. Similarly efforts are made to enhance the writing skills through creative writing , slogan writing, caption writing and calligraphy contests etc. The students are exhorted to pen their thought to be published in NIE, The Times of India provides a platform for the budding scribes and help them to tap their creative talents.
ECO-CLUB
Eco clubs play an important role in creating environment awareness among the students. Students are encouraged to adopt environment friendly practices such as savings electricity and water, keeping surrounding clean and green. Van Mahotsav is celebrated every year. About 100 saplings were planted by the students this year to pave the path for a greener tomorrow. It also enables the students to be sensitive towards environmental concern to tackle environmental problems.
GAMES AND SPORTS
All studies and no play made Jack a dull boy. And a sharp brain resides only in a healthy body; so the games and sports hold a prominent place in school curriculum .Under the trained and hardworking PTI’s the school offers the full arrangement for the indoor as well as outdoor games like football, cricket, volleyball, Kho-Kho, basket ball, badminton, chess and carom-board etc. The school organizes various fun-filled competitions around the year to promote the building of stamina, co-operation, discipline and a healthy life style among the students.
